According to the Ministry of Defense, Azerbaijani Armed Forces used sniper weapon 170 times, about 9 times a heavy weapons were used, including 6 times - heavy caliber sniper weapons. As a result of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan, two Armenian soldiers were injured in December.

In November Azerbaijan violated ceasefire with Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh about 1,000 times. In particular, the Azerbaijani side has used sniper weapon about 210 times, about 10 times they used heavy weapons, and once the RPG-7. In October, Azerbaijan violated ceasefire with Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh about 1,050 times, in September – 1,185 times, in August – 1,161 times, in July - more than 1,300 times, in June – 3,750, May – 1,300 times. Statistics show that Azerbaijan is constantly striving to maintain the tension on the contact line.
