YEREVAN. – The heavy snowfall in Armenia is causing concern for the university students that are living in the regions, as it is creating obstacles for these students who are to attend their examinations at the institutions of higher education in capital city Yerevan, Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan wrote on his Facebook page.   

“Those regional students who were unable to attend the examinations due to heavy snowfall should not be concerned. If necessary, the [Education and Science Ministry] ESM will petition to resolve the problems arising     at the universities,” he wrote.

To note, the midterm exams have commenced in Armenia’s institutions of higher education.
