YEREVAN.- Former Karabakh FM, presidential contender Arman Melikyan said comments on upcoming presidential election or remarks of the candidates can be made only after official registration.
His comments came in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s request to comment on the offer voiced by other presidential contender Andreas Ghukasyan.
Ghukaysan addressed the contenders with a proposal “to jointly leave the campaign for the [presidential] elections, which the [ruling Republican Party] RPA has designed and predetermined, and to unanimously launch a universal civil movement for radical changes.”
Melikyan noted that none of the contenders had been registered officially by the Central Electoral Commission, thus “making comments is inexpedient.”
