YEREVAN. – Armenia’s capital city Yerevan Zoo will soon have new animals such as chimpanzees, tapirs, giraffes, and mandrills.  

This became possible as a result of last year’s cooperation with the Jerusalem zoo, the Yerevan Zoo representatives told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

To note, this year Yerevan Zoo also plans to acquire an ostrich, a hyena, a Bengal tiger, zebras, subtropical butterflies, and lizards.
