ALEPPO.- Blasts struck Armenian district of Aleppo on the day of  rocket attack on Aleppo University, community representative in Aleppo Zhirayr Reisian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Reisian said the blast in Nor Gyugh district inflicted financial loss. Explosions in Suleymaniye sparked fear. Reisian said that 83 students were killed and 165 injured in the university blast, according to preliminary reports.

“Although there are many Armenians among students, there are no reports about casualties,” he added.

The Syrian opposition groups launched a rocket attack on University of Aleppo. The data on growing in number casualties is provided by Syrian governmental sources.
