YEREVAN.- The government must not be worried about development of civil society, Armenian President said.
Serzh Sargsyan, incumbent president who is also running for the second term, met with voters in Stepanavan, Lori Region.
Addressing the residents of Stepanavan, President said the country had faced considerable changes over the recent five years, Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports.
“People have become freer in expressing their opinion on the decisions made by the government. Sometimes we see how the decisions are revised under the influence of active public sector. There is no ground for concern,” he said.
President Sargsyan noted that the country has entered a challenging decade and people must have responsible attitude toward themselves and the state to be able to resist the challenges.
