YEREVAN. – Do not doubt that the interim Armenian coalition government’s junior partner, Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party (RLP), will win the upcoming capital city Yerevan Council election, and we will see what kind of Yerevan we will have.   

Acting Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan, who is RLP’s Yerevan mayoral candidate, stated the abovementioned during Wednesday’s closing meeting for the election campaign season. 

“Seeing the problems our residents face today, you truly feel bad because there are problems that can be solved on the spot. There are places where they see you as a head and they abhor you. The reason is that the leaders do not communicate much with the people,” Yeritsyan stressed. 

He noted that their primary task will be to see to it that the Yerevan mayor makes an address once every three months and the Yerevan residents are able to pose him their questions of concern. Armen Yeritsyan noted that, to achieve this, people need to love Yerevan, and he loves Yerevan and Armenia.
