YEREVAN.- Victory in the Yerevan municipal elections is very important. It is not a struggle for mayoral post but fight against political monopoly, Heritage party said.

Addressing the meeting of Raffi Hovannisian’s supporters, head of the Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobyan said the municipality administration is formed by a political monopoly that is serving the interests of oligarchs and their people.

“During the upcoming elections residents of Yerevan will be able to put an end to political monopoly and return the power,” Hakobyan said.

“I am not urging you to vote for “Barev, Yerevan” bloc, I am asking to vote honestly,” he added.
