YEREVAN. – The opposition political parties elected to the Council of Elders will definitely be able to cooperate, head of Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan said.
“I think the parties elected to the Council are likely to collaborate,” she told reporters on Friday.
Asked whether Prosperous Armenia will solely play the leading role in the alliance, Zohrabyan said much would depend on the vote results.
“But we think Prosperous Armenia will be the first in case of fair vote,” deputy head of the faction Stepan Margaryan said.
The election to Yerevan Council of Elders is slated n May 5. The proportional list of Prosperous Armenia is headed by former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian.
