STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan on Friday participated in the opening ceremony of art center in the town of Shushi with the first exhibition of famous sculptor Nikolay Nikoghosyan.

President Sahakyan thanked philanthropists Sergey, Karo and Kamo Sargsyans for financing this program, stressing importance of having an art center in Shushi. He noted it would contribute to development of culture in the city.

On the same day Bako Sahakyan took part in the opening of a newly built stadium in Shushi.

He thanked the president of the Armenia’s football federation for implementing the project, noting the significance of this facility for Karabakh youth.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, National Assembly speaker Ashot Ghulyan, other officials, guests from Armenia and abroad were present at the events.
