YEREVAN. – The banks in Armenia have purchased $94.1 million and sold $106.5 million from Monday to Friday, the Central Bank of Armenia informs.
The foreign currency trading in the country increased by almost half, as compared to the past week, but it is not considered being a record.
In addition, between April 22 and 28, Armenia’s banks provided loans in the country’s national currency, the dram, in the amount that was equivalent to approximately $75 million, and the dollar loans amounted to $48.3 million.
