YEREVAN. – The “Get to Know Yerevan” competition-cycling race was held in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan on Sunday.
Over 300 cyclists, who represented 46 teams, cycled around Yerevan and attempted to decode their routes by way of puzzles.
According to the event organizers, this program aims to show that it is possible to travel around Armenia’s capital city and pass by scenic spots on bicycles, the bicycle is gradually becoming a part of our daily lives, and more people are beginning to use this alternative means of transportation.
“Hayasa” Youth NGO Chairman Suren Mkrtchyan informed that this event has brought together university students, representatives of a variety of organizations, and, in general, the youth, who formed teams with their friends.
