YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan awarded orders and medals to a group of prominent Armenians, the President’s Press Office informs. 

Guided by the Constitution of Armenia and pursuant to the country’s law on state awards, and on the occasion of First Republic Day, President Sargsyan decided to separately award the Saint Mesrop Mashtots Order, the 1st- 2nd-Degree Medal for Services to the Motherland, the Mkhitar Heratsi Medal, the Anania Shirakatsi Medal, and the Movses Khorenatsi Medal to a group of distinguished Armenians.
