YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan bestowed honorary titles to a group of individuals Armenians, the President’s Press Office informs. 

Guided by the Constitution of Armenia and pursuant to the country’s law on state awards, and on the occasion of First Republic Day, President Sargsyan decided to bestow honorary titles to a group of artists and scholars.

The bestowed titles are: Distinguished Worker of Science; The People’s Artist; The People’s Painter; Distinguished Artist; Distinguished Painter; Distinguished Worker of Art; and Distinguished Worker of Culture.
