His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is about to set foot on Armenian soil, says the message posted on the official Facebook of the UK Embassy.

“This is a great day for British-Armenian relations. The Prince has a deep and long-standing concern for cultural heritage, particularly architectural heritage, and the environment. I am sure that he will find much in Armenia with its beautiful natural scenery and rich history, which will impress and inspire him. His visit will further cement the warm relations between our two countries,” Ambassador Jonathan James Aves wrote.

His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales will pay a private visit to Armenia, from May 28 to 30, as guest of the Yerevan My Love Charitable Foundation. Prince Charles will be the first British royal family member to pay a visit to Armenia.
