YEREVAN. – The Crisis Management Center of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information on Tuesday at around 2:10pm.

According to this information, as a result of the heavy rainfall in capital city Yerevan, the rain water had inundated several streets and entered basements, garages, and stores. 

The workers from the Utilities Department of Yerevan Municipality are carrying out drainage activities, the MES news service informs.

In addition, and as of 4:20pm, the rescue workers are conducting drainage nearby a downtown underpass.
