Absence of elections a good reason to speak less and work more - Armenian Presid

YEREVAN. – Absence of elections in the coming years is a good reason to speak less and work more, Armenian President said.

Serzh Sargsyan today participated in the meeting of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund board of trustees (photo).

The recent parliamentary, presidential and municipal elections in Armenia made us raise issues, consider problems topical for our country, he said.

President Sargsyan noted that the programs related to Diaspora will definitely continue, stressing that one of the main problems is the fate of Syrian Armenians.

“As a nation and as a state, we will help our brothers and sisters – Syrian Armenians, no matter whether they will come to Armenia or stay in Syria,” he said.
