YEREVAN. – The Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has a crisis management center, and the second such center will be built in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh.
The Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, noted the aforesaid to news reporters on Friday.
In his words, NKR President Bako Sahakyan’s visit to MES on Friday obligates to work more actively in Artsakh.
“We all need to have our contribution in Karabakh. The crisis management center will be founded in Nagorno-Karabakh in a maximum of three to four months,” he said, and added that the cooperation is at a high level.
The minister also informed that President Sahakyan proposed to carry out joint exercises in Artsakh.
“We will send our corresponding equipment there, and organize the exercises in several months,” Armen Yeritsyan assured.
