A horrendous incident occurred in Armenia’s Artik city in the early morning hours of Saturday.

According to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s information, a man strangled his wife to death. 

The man, Artyom Gh., 37, got into an argument with his wife, Tsoghik A., 27, at their apartment and on the grounds of jealousy, and, subsequently, he strangled her to death with bare hands. Tsoghik A. was a citizen of the Russian Federation. 

An ambulance was called in, but the woman’s life could not be saved.   

A criminal case is filed and Artyom Gh. is arrested, the Police told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
