YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with Deputy Mayor Kalle Klandorf of the Estonian capital, Tallinn.

Welcoming the guest, who is in Armenia within the framework of the “Everyone Goes to Yerevan” program, and presenting the ongoing development programs in Armenia’s capital city, the mayor stressed that Yerevan underscores active cooperation with other cities, the Yerevan Municipality press service informs. 

Yerevan partners with more than fifty cities, and I am confident that we can form partnership relations with Tallinn, too. Yerevan is a developing city, and the favorable investment climate affords a good opportunity for the development of business relations, as well,” Margaryan stressed.       

In his turn, Klandorf congratulated Margaryan for being reelected Mayor of Yerevan and shared his impressions on the Armenian capital city.   

“Last time I was in Yerevan was in 1973; the change and the development are apparent. I am convinced that our next conversation will have practical grounds,” noted the deputy mayor of the Estonian capital city.

On behalf of the Mayor of Tallinn, Kalle Klandorf invited Taron Margaryan to visit the capital of Estonia.

The interlocutors also discussed the avenues for the development of ties.
