YEREVAN. – A planning conference and a staff training exercise were held from June 9 to 13 in the Belarusian capital, Minsk.  

The conference brought together representatives from the emergency management agencies of the six countries (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, Belarus) that participate in the Prevention, Preparedness and Response to Man-made and Natural Disasters in the ENPI (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument) East Region (PPRD East) Project, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.  

The substance, objectives and future course of the PPRD East Project and the mechanisms for the European Union civil protection were discussed during the conference.   

And following the staff training exercise, the conference participants toured the National Center for Crisis Management of the Belarusian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
