The delegation of the European Parliament canceled visit to Turkey because of angry response of Premier Erdogan to the resolution adopted by EU.
EP Foreign Relations Commission President Elmar Brok announced the decision of the delegation, Internethaber reported. Addressing the Turkish authorities, Brok noted that “they should understand how to deal with criticism.” The EU official said he hopes that the dialogue will be resumed soon.
Premier Erdogan responded aggressively to a non-binding resolution expressing concern over “the disproportionate and excessive use of force” by Turkish authorities. Erdogan said he is not recognizing such European Parliament.
