Ukraine must follow the lead of many other countries and recognize the Armenian Genocide, Ukrainian MP Arsen Avakov said in an interview with Kapital newspaper.

“I mean recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the territory of the Ottoman Empire carried out by the government of the Young Turks in 1915-1920,” he said.
