YEREVAN. – A television link will be established between Armenia and Japan on July 18, “Hikari” Armenian-Japanese Cultural Center Director Karine Piliposyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The TV link will be devoted to the anniversary of the atomic bombing of the Japanese city of Hiroshima in 1945.

One year ago, an Armenian delegation was in Japan, where it attended the events devoted to the aforesaid tragedy. Also, the delegation had brought along 67 lanterns, which symbolized the number of years that had passed since the bombing.
