By the year 2016, the French hotel group Accor S.A. plans to operate fifty hotels—against the current eighteen—in Russia and in several other post-Soviet countries, reports Nouvelles d’Arménie monthly of France.

“Hotels will be opened in Armenia, Georgia, and Kyrgyzstan. There is a great potential for growth. In the case of a population of sixty-five million, the network represents 3,600 international hotels in France,” Accor CEO Yann Caillère said in connection with the opening of the group’s eighteenth hotel in the region.
