YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, and Moldova’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Natalia Gherman, met on Friday in the Moldovan capital, Chişinău.

The interlocutors discussed the steps to be taken to implement the agreements that were reached during the Armenian President’s talks with the Moldovan president and PM, the Armenian MFA press service informs. 

The two ministers also reflected on matters concerning the improvement of bilateral ties in numerous domains. 

In addition, Nalbandian and Gherman visited the Armenian Church in Chişinău, where they met with representatives of the Moldovan-Armenian community. Armenia’s FM thanked the Moldovan authorities for their caring attitude toward the country’s Armenian community. In her turn, Gherman praised the role which the Moldovan-Armenian community plays in the country.
