YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan visited the French Embassy, in connection with the French National Day on Sunday, July 14.

On this occasion, Sargsyan congratulated Ambassador Henri Reynaud, the Embassy staff, and the people of France.  

Also, the President issued a congratulatory message to French President François Hollande. 

“Owing to our joint efforts, I am convinced that the political discourse, the close cooperation, the dynamic ties, [and] the interparliamentary and decentralized collaboration between Armenia and France will strengthen further.   

“I again thank for the efforts which France, as an OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair, exerts to the benefit of the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the strengthening of security and stability in our region, [and] the development of cooperation.

“Mr. President, I look forward to hosting you in Armenia on a state visit, being convinced that it will strengthen relations between Armenia and France and deepen the friendship of our peoples,” the Armenian President’s message runs, in particular.
