YEREVAN. – Armenia and Ukraine will contribute to intensification of relations between the Council of Europe and OSCE, Armenian FM said during a joint press conference with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.

Edward Nalbandian recalled that the two agencies have different staff, different composition and mandate, but have established cooperation.

“As a chairperson of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, I had an opportunity to present our presidency’s priorities at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting in early June. I know that the Ukrainian side has presented its priorities in February during the meeting within the Council of Europe,” the Minister told reporters.

A working group of two organizations holds meetings twice a year, he said, expressing Armenia’s readiness to contribute to further coordination and collaboration between the agencies during its chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers.
