There is an interest in Armenia toward Lithuania’s presidency in the European Union (EU), stated Remigijus Motuzas, Deputy Chancellor of the Government of Lithuania.

“Lithuania is very interesting. We receive calls from ambassadors, they invite us to present the Presidency in their countries, not only in the EU countries but also in other countries such as Israel, Armenia. And the EU countries show great interest. We all must take advantage of it – tourism, business, industry, associations,” said Motuzas.

Motuzas made such comment because a Lithuanian newspaper had run an article suggesting that Lithuania’s EU presidency is not at the center of attention of Europe, The Baltic Course reports making a reference to Respublika newspaper.
