YEREVAN. – We can confidently assert that the Armenia-EU Association Agreement will be initialed during the Eastern Partnership summit to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on November 28 and 29.

“European Integration” NGO Director Karen Bekaryan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am, reflecting on the ending of the Armenia-EU talks with respect to the establishment of a free trade area.

In his conviction, the abovementioned agreement will create new opportunities and tools.

“This will enable to associate with the European market, [and] to improve and raise the level of standards,” Bekaryan said.

In his view, Armenia has adopted a very clear stance by noting that each integration process, which is productive for the country, can be brought to life, and this should not be conditioned on similar processes with others.
