Turkish President Abdullah Gul granted an interview to Irish Times daily, where touched upon Turkish Premier’s London statement on the possible deportation of 100.000 illegal Armenians from the country.

According to him, world media misinterpreted Erdogan’s words, Turkish Vatan newspaper reads. “Erdogan did not mean Armenian people will be deported from the country. He just meant we do not feel hostility against anybody. Though there are too many illegal immigrants in Turkey, it does not pursue a deportation policy, otherwise we would have long done so,” Gul emphasized.
