Turkish Navy patrol boat “Shahin Guvlek” encircled two Cypriot fishing boats and threatened the fishers, Armenian Cyprus-based magazine Gibrahayer reports. The incident occurred near Protaras resort (Kappari region).
According to the source, fishermen were forced to flee the location. “It is with great surprise that the fishermen later reported that after the latest bravados of the Turkish Navy, the patrol boat went on to collect the fishing nets and fled,” the magazine says.
