Diyarbakır Court sentenced Turkish singer Rojda Shenses, famous for her Kurdish songs, to 1.8-year imprisonment, Turkish Radikal newspaper reports.
The singer is charged with the agitation of the terrorist organization (PKK) by her song entitled ‘Heval Kamuran’ which she sang at 2009 “Cultures and Arts” festival in Diyarbakır organized by Diyarbakır Greater City Council.
