STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received delegation of the Yerevan municipality headed by Mayor Taron Margaryan.

A number of issues related to cooperation between the capitals of the two Armenian states were discussed. Special attention was paid to the project of a park dedicated to Freedom Fighters in the center of Stepanakert.

President Sahakyan highlighted the significance of this undertaking for developing culture, architecture and patriotic education. Bako Sahakyan expressed his gratitude to the Yerevan city administration for active participation in the implementation of the project, considering it one of the best examples of cooperation.

Mayor of Stepanakert Suren Grigoryan, NKR deputy defense minister, chairman of the Artsakh Union of Freedom Fighters Samvel Karapetyan, NKR minister of municipal engineering Karen Shahramanyan and other officials participated in the meeting.
