YEREVAN. – The reform, which was promised to Armenia’s taxi drivers, is delaying. 

Tigran Hovhannisyan, Head of the Drivers’ Defense League, stated the aforesaid Tuesday, and in response to a query by the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter.

As per Hovhannisyan, although the facilitated procedure for licensing the cab drivers was promised back on April 1, it has not entered into force to this day.

This project has already received approval from the government and is submitted to the National Assembly discussions. 

To note, however, this project has been put off for seven months.
