YEREVAN. – The nomination for the head of Control Chamber is submitted by the president, while the parliament has to confirm it or not, Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan told reporters after the Tuesday vote.

“If we take into account every opinion, we will get mixed, as there are too many opinions,” he said.

The Speaker noted that everyone must treat the activities of the Control Chamber with responsibility and help the Chamber to work properly.

“We should be able to raise problems and violations that are true, and relevant agencies should give their assessment. Meanwhile, certain assessments voiced in the parliament are not true, therefore, it is necessary to refrain from unfounded allegations,” Hovik Abrahamyan added.
