YEREVAN. – In 2014, Armenia’s budget deficit will be around 2.3 percent of GDP, Finance Minister said presenting the draft state budget for 2014.

According to the draft, the 2014 deficit will make around 110.5 billion drams (at current exchange rate around $272 million).

“If implementation of projects under international credit programs is higher than projected, the government can increase the deficit and conduct a more expansionary fiscal policy,” Davit Sargsyan told the lawmakers.
