YEREVAN. – The head of Armenia’s Communist Party Ruben Tovmasyan resigned during the Thursday meeting of the party’s bureau.

The second secretary of the party Tachat Sargsyan will replace him till the next session of the central committee of the Communist Party of Armenia, the party told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The official reasons of his resignations are not named. Ruben Tovmasyan would be 77 next February.
