We are certainly going to vote against the 2014 budget.

Opposition Armenian National Congress bloc National Assembly (ANC NA) Faction Secretary Aram Manukyan noted the aforementioned at Friday’s NA briefing with news reporters.

“There is no budget, there is no progress in Armenia. The money disappear lot more from the actual budget. And after the collection of the funds, 70 percent of them appear in the risk zone.

“I am presenting Control Chamber Chairman Ishkhan Zakaryan’s figures. If the [Armenian] Diaspora does not send us money, the current authorities would not last even a month,” Manukyan said.       

The ANC NA Faction secretary added that the budget is just the tip of the iceberg. 

In his view, the societal tension in the country is lessening solely thanks to the relatives living abroad. 

According to Aram Manukyan, the emigration from Armenia is causing a demographic collapse in the country.
