STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree on Friday.

Pursuant to this decree, several individuals have been awarded the Gratitude medal for defending the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh, and promoting the international recognition of NKR. 

The medal recipients are: Jim Kaloustian, Manager of Rx.Ante. Inc Company dealing with healthcare issues in the US City of Boston;  Jonathan Hecht, member of the House of Representatives of the US State of Massachusetts; Ani Haroyan, member of the Central Committee of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation of the US East Coast; Anna Astvatsaturian-Turcotte, lawyer and writer (USA); Vazgen Kaltakchyan, member of the Central Department of Hnchakyan Social-Democratic Party, Chairman of the Armenian-American Board of the US State of Louisiana; and Peter Koutoujian, Sheriff of Middlesex County, Massachusetts (USA).
