YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Monday released a congratulatory message to President Andris Bērziņš of Latvia. 

President Sargsyan congratulated his Latvian counterpart in connection with the Latvian national day, the Independence Day. 

To note, Latvia had declared its independence on November 18, 1918, but from 1940 to 1991, it was a part of the ex-USSR.
