The private meeting between Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev came to an end in Austrian capital city Vienna.

Armenian President’s press secretary Arman Saghatelyan tweeted the aforesaid.

In Saghatelyan’s words, Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs Jacques Faure (France), James Warlick (US), and Igor Popov (Russia) also joined the two leaders.  

The talk was held at Palais Coburg. 

To note, this was the first meeting between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan over the past two years.

Prior to this talk, the leaders of the two countries had a telephonic conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry. The latter had reconfirmed his country’s full assistance to the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
