The Council of Heads of Governments of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries will discuss, on Wednesday in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the implementation of the free trade agreement as well as socioeconomic and humanitarian cooperation. 

The participants will come to understand what real benefits the working agreement on establishing a free trade zone within the CIS will bring to them. 

The socioeconomic development of the CIS countries likewise will be at the focus of the participants of the meeting, reports RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.  

A separate section of the matters to be discussed will be devoted to cooperation in the energy sector.

To note, an Armenian delegation, led by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, also will attend the session.
