YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Mayor Taron Margaryan of Armenia’s capital city Yerevan, a delegation, led by Governor Sheikh Ali Al-Jaber Al-Sabah of Kuwait City, arrived in Yerevan on an official visit.

Following the official welcoming ceremony at Zvartnots International Airport, Margaryan and the governor of the Kuwaiti capital city visited and placed flowers to the monument symbolizing the friendship between the Armenian and the Arab peoples, informs the Yerevan Municipality Information and Public Relations Department.  

Mayor Margaryan noted that this monument symbolizes the Armenian nation’s gratitude to the Arab peoples of Syria and the Middle East for assisting the survivors of the Armenian Genocide.
