YEREVAN. – The 102nd Russian Military Base stationed in Armenia will be allocated additional space at Erebuni Airport in capital city Yerevan.
Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazaryan stated the aforesaid at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, as he introduced the government’s respective draft decision.
Accordingly, the Russian military base will be allocated a space for helicopters plus areas for administrative buildings and fuel storage.
The abovementioned decision was made within the framework of the protocol of the eighth session of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission, where the obligations of the two parties are listed.
