President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday met with Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy  of Spain, in Lithuanian capital city Vilnius.  

The interlocutors discussed Armenian-Spanish relations and the avenues for the development of bilateral cooperation. 

President Sargsyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance to the development political discourse and the strengthening of collaboration with Spain in several domains.

Serzh Sargsyan and Mariano Rajoy also underscored the need to invigorate mutual visits and the multilateral cooperation within international organizations.
