GYUMRI. – The third interregional forum “Russia, Armenia, Customs Union” opened in Gyumri.

The forum is organized by administrations of the Russian and Armenian presidents and is being held within the framework of Vladimir Putin’s visit to Armenia.

The forum brought together around 500 participants, including representatives of the Russian state agencies, business circles, Armenia and Russian NGOs, six ministers eleven governors, heads of Rosatom, Gazprom, RUSAL, Inter RAO UES and VTB.

The first day of the forum will be held in Gyurmi. Participants will be welcomed by the presidents. During the forum, a symbolic launch of the fifth unit of Hrazdan TPP will be held. On December 3 the work will continue in Yerevan in the format of roundtable discussions.
