YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 404.90/$1 in Armenia on Thursday. 

The aforementioned rate is an AMD 0.11 drop from Wednesday. 

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 554.39 (up by AMD 0.17), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 12.40 (up by AMD 0.01), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 663.55 (up by AMD 2.70), informs the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 15,612.63, AMD 252.61, and AMD 17,344.47, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 8,400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 405/$1, and the trading session likewise closed at AMD 405/$1.

In addition, one gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 15,608.39 (down by AMD 4.24), AMD 252.55 (down by AMD 0.06), and AMD 17,339.76 (down by AMD 4.71), correspondingly, at the stock exchange.
