At the meeting with Georgian FM Grigol Vashadze at UN headquarters in New York UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urged Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia to expand the dialogue and confidence-building measures.
He expressed support to the Geneva consultations on security and stability in Transcaucasia, RIA Novosti reports.
The official also attached significance to the expansion of the dialogue and confidence building, as well as called on the further efforts into the enhancement of pragmatic discussions and progress in practical issues of common interest.
