On April 24, the memorial service for the victims of Armenian Genocide, committed by Ottoman Empire in 1915 will be held in French Cathedral Friedrichstadtkirche in Berlin. Numerous political, cultural and scientific figures will attend the service.

The famous historian, Professor Volkhard Knigge (Director of Buchenwald Memorial Foundation), President of the parliament for the State of Berlin Walter Momper and local Armenian Community speaker Vardges Alyanak are to deliver speeches. Artistic part will be presented by Melanie Blocksdorf (declamation) and Liana Alexanyan (soprano) and Silva Schmeding-Farmazyan (piano).
